Approach & Philosophy
“Counselling is a space where trust and a therapeutic relationship can develop; where we can explore life’s challenges together.
Who you are, what you feel, and what you need are uniquely yours. It may not feel like it, but you’re the expert of yourself, your relationships, and your future. I’m here to help you discover your expertise and explore how life can be.“
Background
Stephen is a qualified registered Counsellor with experience counselling school-aged children, teenagers, and adults through some of the most difficult years of their lives.
Stephen provides a wealth of experience as a Lifeline counsellor of five years, a school counsellor, as a sole parent and experience gained by living in community with both street and foster adolescents.
I offer an empathetic, non-judgemental understanding combined with evidence-based therapies for all ages.
Together we can explore life’s challenges and work towards a way forward.
